Yes, 5 mil is the max. If you go over they're lost.

If you need to hide stubs just put in buy orders at 100k or so for Harper or Jansen. Should help lower the stub count so if you sell anything you won't lose stubs. It's a trick all the investors use to bank our $

Actually, I would go even further and says o put in multiple buy orders in at 5-10K.
It would take longer; but you don't have to worry about those cards possibly dripping to 100K and 'buying' multiples of each card.
Yes, you could probably sell them back, but unless you get enough to cover the tax; you're losing stubs.

I actually invest my extra stubs into BR and WS cards that will go up in value due to inflation and the natural trend in pricing on those rare cards. I didn't feel like giving advice on what to do with those stubs that would be most beneficial. I just thought to tell the OP how he can avoid losing stubs when he is at the limit. I should have thought to explain that doing nothing with stubs is actually losing stubs due to inflation.
