Had this happen twice today. Once on a HR by Mitch Moreland, which was unfortunate. Other was a double with Eddie. Just reload and wish ill will against them

Right? It is just frustrating and it helps the sore loser and punishes you. I hope if someone dashboards the last at bat counts as a HR.

Your frustration and crying is exactly why they dashboard. It's a middle finger walking off the field. It's not like they are crying and so mad they lost. It's a little jab at you and if you read all the threads here about dashboarding, it works.

Sometimes you just have to dashboard. If I'm losing and the other dude continues to R2 and bunt dance with their obnoxious DJ Airhorn sound effect every time they score, get a strikeout, steal a base, etc...I'm going to dashboard at some point. Especially if I'm unable to score!

Actually you never HAVE to dashboard. I have played a LOT of this game the past two years and I have dashboarded exactly zero times. It’s called being mature and not being a sore loser. The dashboard thing is probably more generational, likely coming from this younger generation where everyone is used to getting a trophy and they don’t keep score so nobody gets upset. If things don’t go there way they have to resort to the only way they can “beat” you which is to hurt your parallel stats(or Prestige last year). It’s honestly soft AF.

I’ve had it done to me about 5-6 times playing the event just today alone.

People dashboard with the express purpose of pissing you off. It has little to do with stats.

I know it just happens so often though especially BR when you need that XBH. I am just wondering if this happens a lot for people in general. Maybe there is a fix next year for 22 because some games have that. Dashboard like a little baby, but you won't get anything out of it.

Happens all the time. People who play online in this game are toxic. WEll not everyone, but id say more than half.

Dash-boarding actually takes longer then just quitting to get into another game. It’s 100% a FU to whomever they are quitting on and some kids are legit just skilled at doing it. They can dashboard just as the no doubt animation starts. That’s a gift.

I don't get it and it is super lame, but it happens so frequently. Are people experiencing something similar? People are grinding stats for parallel or the BR rewards. Why is it so hard to let the ball land? "It might affect the stats on my silver pitcher?" I hope this could be a small update in future games where the stat counts.

People can rage quit all they want if it triggers them, but it seems like this is punishing everyone. Getting hits with silver Eddie Matthews or gold flashback Santana in this game is HARD because they suck and I suck at this game too!

This is what happens when you live with mom in the basement and you can't hold your L's. Pretty sure they also follow Jake Paul on socials

Lol the people here are the ones actually raging, not the dash boarders. I've had dozens of people dashboard against me. It's not a big deal. Move on to the next.

I just played 2 event games as a warm up since I haven't really played much in a few days. In the first game I immediately noticed all speed players and thought to myself "here it comes". I get Turner out, and then Puason bloops in a single. He immediately takes 3 extra steps and prepares to steal. I pick off to first, he takes off, I throw to second and my fielder has the ball when he is only 3/4 of the way to 2nd. Somehow he evades the tag and is safe. BS. Next batter, he tried to bunt with Soriano and I just know he is going to try to go 2nd to home, so I ignore the runner at first and throw home. Sure enough he goes home and is out by a mile. This time the tag is made. Then he does the same 3 step lead with Soriano and takes off, but this time my fielder makes the tag and he is out. Bottom of the first I get a single with Ohtani, and then an absolute moonshot by Trea Turner. Instant dashboard.

Next game was pretty normal. Top of the second my opponent hits a homerun with Castellanos, and I respond with one by Schwarber in the bottom of the second. Bottom of the third he brings in 99 Rivera and Trea Turner is up. I set up inside because I have a feeling he's gonna try to catch me looking on a cutter inside. I'm ready for it and hit another moonshot on the first pitch. You all know what comes next. Dashboard...

So Turner lost 2 homeruns in about 20-30 minutes, but that's what happens in events. While it's nice to use players who don't normally make a ranked squad and work on stats, since there are no consequences for losses people will act like clowns. There was also some guy on here a few days ago claiming his dashboarded homerun counted because the screen froze up a bit and he saw the runner make it all the way home. Same thing happened to me in the second game. Checked the box score, no homerun. So that definitely is not fixed.

Imagine needing a Homer with one of the guys from the BR missions and they dashboard before the ball lands just brutal, I really wish the game had a way of registering a Homer for mission/stats/parallel/ without needing the ball to drop.

Falling for the bait to post my stuff...

First off rank is irrelevant in this conversation. Even if my rating was 350 it would be just as valid someone 1200. I don't claim to be amazing but I'm decent, especially for an older player. I'm 44-7 in RS and I've gone 12-0. Haven't made WS because I haven't tried. This is the first season I might and not really motivated because legend is too hard and the rewards aren't great. Love the game on HOF, I'm worthless on legend.

You just have to lower your expectations. Its like getting in your car and driving somewhere. You're guaranteed to encounter selfish jerks looking at their phones or cutting people off. Playing online games is very similar.

On pickoffs, I just picked up game a couple weeks ago. This is definitely not like last years version. Half the time I go for a pick off the pitcher doesnt actually throw it or throws with horrible accuracy. Sometimes it's not even a pickoff but the throwing meter pops up which always turns into an error for me. What is the proper way of picking off in this game because I am obviously doing something wrong. Last year I never had any issues with this.
