No matter what I've played since the last patch was done good/good is an out, don't even think oh maybe!!! No, it's an out. But yet, an early swing that is not even on the pci can be a homer... other than that have to be perfect/ perfect to get a hit!!!
Which is pretty bad if you ask me. I honestly don't know their mindset at this company and how they are ok with how trash the hitting is.

Meh, I've gotten hits off ones I shouldn't have, and gotten hosed on ones where I hit perfect. That's baseball, imo.

I've gotten perfect/perfect lineouts. I've gotten jam shots, PCI not on the ball for doubles down the line .

Yup, thats baseball. This is one of the situations where people may prefer fun over realism. You can't scream for realism then pout when you get it and things don't go your way.

This is not baseball its a video game. The Game should reward you for perfect hits. Center pci placement, hitting hanging curves. Just real bad sds nerfed hitting now with all the great hitters they released.

I mean, a perfect play call on Madden isn't a no doubt TD. I guess if you want to be rewarded for "Perfect" stick to 2K and hit constant green releases and score every time if you're perfect. I mean, I get it's frustrating but it happens to every singe player that plays this game. The game doesn't have it out for you specifically. I get pissed off too, as does everyone but I guess for me it adds to the feeling of actual baseball. The hardest hit ball doesn't always turn out to the be best hit ball, a lot of luck and unluckiness in the sport of baseball. You can throw a meatball and the batter could still miss it. Or you can dot the corner and you could still give up a HR with the right swing.
