Fix the foul balls! I'm sorry tired of guys fouling off 5 pitches way out of the zone every at bat. It's a huge problem on allstar difficulty.

I believe it is a locked animation (aiding players in HTH online play) which the AI employs simply to drain the pitcher's energy with increased pitch counts when playing the CPU. Like 85% of the gameplay, locked animations and audible and or AI cheats are the dominating factor. Listen for the cues the announcers give as to the next possible result of your AB. It is striking, example: Shohani is up, "Well their gonna have to hurry to complete a DP against him he is so fast down the line". Your next swing????? You guessed it, a perfectly hit ball for a DP.
