Why did they revert pitching results to the show 20?

I understand PPP was OP but going back to last year's results was the answer? Any slight miss on the timing now results in mostly meat pitches smack down the barrel. SDS does know that a miss in accuracy doesn't need to be a bullseye for the batter and they can go wide too, right?

Nah i dont think it's that bad. Good input on PP is still rewarded with perfects for the most part. i actually expected them to nerf it more than they have.

Oh pls. You can have 80% accuracy and locate almost perfectly if you nail the release. That's not skill and it should be punished FAR more than what it is which is almost never.

Agree. Was hoping for a little more punishment for horrible releases. Instead almost all bad releases just end up way out of the zone where they can't be hit.

I still dot all the time, I rarely get one in the middle of the plate. In absolutely no way is pitching even close to what 20 was

Honestly I just wish the other pitching styles were more accurate. For instance I really like pulse pitching. I wish when you set the circle that the pitch either stayed in the circle somewhere or at the very worst touches some part of the circle. Instead I often set the circle completely below the strike zone and yet somehow it ends up well above the bottom line and perfectly where you don’t want it.(PCI jammers wet dream) I get that it’s not too hard but you can very easily mistime it and get the bigger circle. And if a pitcher has bad control then the circle at its smallest takes up like 1/3 of the strike zone yet the pitch will go well outside.

I think its good for now i generally miss where i can afford to miss and yes i've thrown more meat balls since but i truly feel responsible.
