Is all star degrom bad or predictable

I faced degrom online and bombed him in one game then I used him in another and he was bombed as well. Did SDS make his card bad to save for his finest card or his pitches are too predictable like everyone knows that he has a cheesy fastball?

Probably more just coincidence. I pitched a 9 inning one run game with him against a competent player. I assume you’re mixing in the change up and slider? That, to me, is the key to degroms excellence.

You should watch what would brev do with deGrom, excellent video CBrev did on his YouTube on how to use him.

If you think people can’t hit 102 your going to suffer the price. Yes some can’t touch it, but decent and good players will destroy him if you don’t mix his pitches. Also changing location is a must with him, due to no cutter or sinker

Update: He's unusable to me in this event, he is one of the worse pitchers I played with, his ERA is 12.27 within 30 games. I tried to mix pitches at every location possible and every pitch is a bomb or hit or a ball, I don't know if the contact swings but I'm finished with him

Most pitchers are unusable in all star events

With degrom you have to pitch careful and mix in all pitches. He's not a 99, imo. Cabrera you can just pitch on his stuff . Degrom stuff is flat kinda average.

I think a lot of people struggle with mixing their pitches when they don’t have a sinker they can spam.

A lot of the time I find if the connection is good I can see the 102 if the connection is bad I can’t see nuffink.

I don’t know how people track this guys pitches so easy, either they are tryhards or using that bs contact swing

I mean people said the same thing about his LS card but I pitched well with him. You just can't treat him like the guys with unhittable sinkers. You have to pick your spots and get guys to chase more by working inside out.

Lmfao, this is a troll post. Seriously, that DeGrom card is the best pitching card in the game. And I don’t care if you say that you can bomb him. I’m gonna torch you on HOF with him. And I don’t even need to use his offspeed pitches I just need to move his fastball around the zone and just out of the zone. You’ll be whiffing the whole game.

I have a 0 ERA with him through 14 innings pitched in the current event. Not a ton of innings but I strike out the side regularly and thats on all star so I’m sure HOF and legend will be even better. I haven’t gotten into playing RS yet...
