The 100mph screwball needs to get the heave-ho.

I can't be the only one who thinks this. Sinkers thrown knee high to around belt high are literally screwballs. Thrown any higher and it literally defies every physics lesson I've ever been taught...
Sinkers to me look like a Devin Williams change-up but around 30 mph faster with an increased chance of my nice new all-star bat skin shattering into a million pieces and possibly killing someone in the process.
I can still hit the stupid thing, but I have to butcher my entire hitting approach just to cheat to a pitch meant for me to put it in play more often than not against someone who isn't Jordan Hicks himself. I've only played 2 ranked seasons games in the past month because of it. one resulted in a war against Cliff Lee and the other ended with a satisfying grand slam off of Edward Cabrera.
From what I've seen, the 2-seam acts WAY more like a sinker than the actual sinker. A middle ground has to be found somewhere I hope...

They tried nerfing the high sinker last year, by letting it not break as much when it's thrown middle/high in the zone, but it didn't really do much. I doubt they'll ever figure it out, so I just practice on high sinkers all the time using custom sliders (pitch speeds all the way up) and on legend. That works to a certain extent.

They could 'figure' it out by not giving every stinking pitcher a sinker....for example Cabrea doesnt throw a sinker, dont even think he throws a 2 seam..

But that wouldn't actually fix anything, regardless of the debate if you're right or not, because people will still look for a pitching staff that throw hard and breaking sinkers. It has always been that way in The Show and it will probably always be that way.

Cutters are 100 mph sliders too. Throw a side arm motion on that cap and that ball is moving literally 2-3 feet across the plate at 99.

Literally

I saw his live series common and was instantly confused. Bottoms out at 94mph with no sinker but the future stars version is throwing the steam at 98+.

FYI Edward Cabrera IRL throws a sinker. And it’s been clocked at over 100 mph IRL. His Futures card is more realistic than his LS card. Just saying

Lol well at least you didn't play MLB 19 when they were hypercharged to the max prior to the 2 nerfs they've already done
