Frustrated

When are they going to fix it? It just came out and I really dont want to play much. I have never had less desire to play. At least in 18 the game was still good at this time of the year. They messed this one up real fast.

Hitting sucks so bad. Too ****ing hard and it feels clunky as hell.
I’ve played 170 event games and 25 ranked games.
Enough time to realize this game was so much fun at launch and so bad now.
Bring back the game we had a launch!!! Don’t care if it was flawed. It was fun. That’s all people were saying, was that it was fun. Other than a few elitists saying it was too easy.
Give us back the game we were having fun with. C’mon SDS.

It rewards poor hitting. I get frustrated when I make good contact that does nothing, and then poor swings and misses hit homeruns or base hits. It's like pitching whats the point of trying to place the ball where it goes no where you want it to?

I personally think that having control over pitch location is atrocious and extremely inconsistent. I'm not saying it happens all the time, but feels like it happens more times than none.
Majority of times when aiming for corner strikes with perfect meter (analog pitching), it either misses outside intended corner for a ball, or even worse forces the pitch to go right down the middle which usually gets punished with a big hit.
And then there are times that I dont care if it pitches it down the middle (like 1-0. 2-0, 3,0 against pitcher for example), and still pitch is completely shanked outside of the zone. I don't get it.
It's so bad that I've had to remedy this by allowing pitch automation to take over by selecting pitch and then not touch anything. But then, it's so obvious to the hitter because of how long it takes for the pitcher to go into motion.
I deal with it, but its definitely frustrating and feel like it's something we should'nt have to deal with.

Hey man I really appreciate your views on this game but you have changed your opinion a few times already. I also appreciate your upvotes on my posts. The game does suck right now....do you agree with this. You can't really believe that hitting is accepatable right now can you? i know it takes work but I have gone from being a fulltime zone hitter to directional and I hate it.

I am not a big time online player. I don play 300 plus games a year becaause I get really agitated with bunt dancers, base runner glitch people and it all started in 16 with the bunt cheese. Having said that, I do play events and RS when I get the itch and have always had a winning record over .500. I have always been a Zone Hitter and was this year before the patch. So I don't really need to #GitGud. I can win online and might even make it to WS if I could get by the agiatation. But for whatever reason since 16, I CANNOT hit with ZONE this year and it pisses me off somnething fearce. Only reason I can come up with is the patch and BS timing window. I have been off work for a month from hip replacement surgery so I have had plenty of time to play this game. I am borderline HATE MLB 20. I read where SDS sold 1M copies last year and that means propably 900,000 plus players are their base income and yet they are listening to 1% of World Series players on how this game plays. I am sick on the BS and want to have fun. How about the rest of y'all?

I only had to play 2 online games. Actually one game but had to get out of the event to sell some cards.

I ask for 2 things to be fixed
- Fix fielding - I recently played a game which was 2-1 going into the bottom of the 9th, 2 outs with someone on first and his mike trout hit a routine fly out which ended being an error and a triple which scored the tying run. He ended up walking it off with a solo shot in the 10th and I was a sad boy
- Hitting - I know sds wants to make a realistic game so I agree with somewhat smaller pci’s and some of the new hitting features but when Alex Reyes is throwing consistent triple digit fastballs through the 7th is the worst thing in the game. Along with off speed being hung left and right all everyone throws now are high inside fastballs that you can’t catch up to nor get anything but a good okay pop out.
Thank you for reading this and I am hopeful that this will be changed.

Pitching , fielding and base running need immediate patches. Hitting needs a whole mechanism. Just had a 9th inning fly ball in RS hit my cf in the head and then I could not pick the ball up till he crossed home plate. Thank goodness I was up 5 to 0. But I have had that happen 3 times before in 1 run games and that is unacceptable, especially one to my first baseman for 3 runs and 1 to my pitcher for 4 runs. No way that should ever happen in an online game.

I feel like there is issues with the game. But, if player input was the only thing that matters, what would be the point of the “in game” player attributes?
The player’s attributes also have a say in how that player performs. Let’s say you hit your marks perfectly on the analogue meter for a pitch, and the pitcher has a 50 point control attribute, you cannot expect a perfectly placed pitch.

Sorry for the bluntness, but this game is EFFEN Trash.....Final Answer.
