XBOX - Is contact swing the A button now?

I swear ever since they updated it whenever i swing with normal swing the ball goes no where. good line drives / pop ups constantly like 10-15 a game.. and the only base hits i get are late or early low pci ground balls. center pci with good timing hasn't done anything for me since the update. im about to just start contact swinging since it seems like they nerfed the power on normal swing
