New and confused

Hi All, first time playing Diamond Dynasty and I'm confused about the rosters.
I had obtained via playing moments an Ozzie Smith Padres rookie card who I had in my lineup as my starting SS for a couple of days.
Today after getting some new packs I used the option to automatically generate the best lineup and that resulted in Ozzie getting replaced by a lower-ranked player.
I checked my bench and Ozzie isn't there. I checked my collection and I still have his card, but I cannot find any way to reinsert onto my Diamond Dynasty roster.
Any suggestions?

I would go to your bench pick a player to replace then hit square to go to filters then just type in Ozzie Smith and the card should pop up. People have had issues with cards disappearing this year so hopefully nothing like that happenned.

Once you take a player out of your lineup that's it. You'll need to redo Moments or purchase off the market.

Must have been a server glitch. I just logged back in and Ozzie was sitting on my bench and I was able to add him back into my starting lineup. Thanks for the quick responses.

There was something going on yesterday with card art not being right. At least it was for me. I was changing my lineup around and a random black dude (think it was Jeremy Jeffers) was a diamond catcher. I reset the game and it turned out it was Johnny Bench.
