I don’t get the ratings system

You got All Star Players like Reyes and he can’t move off a bronze 73?
I hit on Renfroe going gold. I hit on Raisel Iglesias going gold. He got a +3 overall jump. But DeSclafani only goes up +1.
You got a guy like McCuller who is 6-2 with a 2.94 and he goes down an overall?
Do they just make [censored] up when they feel like it or what?

Sometimes yes, they do. Some of it is predictable and makes sense, the rest.. I don’t really know what they’re doing.

or mark canha slightly jazzed on that

I feel with hitters they pick and choose when they want, but pitchers are fairly accurate IMO. At least the way its set up. Pitcher ratings are strictly based on per 9's. Doesn't matter if a picher is 12-1 with a 0.52 ERA. If he doesn't strike anyone out or gives up 10 hits per 9, His rating will not be good. I couldn't begin to describe how they move hitter ratings around. But 99% of the time pitcher ratings make sense (other than Alex Reyes, he definitely slept with an SDS employee's wife)

I agree for the most part on pitchers except Taijuan Walker going down makes no sense to me. -
