If you spend money on the game you probably have disposable income. That's your choice and right. I will never spend money on a video game other than the game itself ever again. It's just not worth it to me. If you put in the time you shouldn't need to buy stubs. Its for impatient lazy people. Which there are plenty of no doubt.
Impatient lazy people? So if someone puts in alot of hours at work and really doesn't have much time to spend grinding and just wants to enjoy the game, so he buys some stubs to get his favorite player, that would count as lazy to you?

I said Impatient & lazy. You would fall under Impatient for sure, possibly lazy depending on how many hours were talking here.

Or is for people that have a plethora of money because they have exhausting careers and families to take care of so dropping money on Stubbs here and there is a drop in the bucket as opposed to someone sitting on their [censored] flipping a virtual currency Market instead of getting a job. I guess there is multiple ways to look at the situation.

I wasn't describing me. I was pointing out that not everybody falls under that umbrella. But you do you. People should definitely stop being lazy and impatient and quit their jobs and do real work like grinding MLB the show.

So just curious. Is it the lack of funds or you just don’t like spending money on virtual stuff?
For me it's neither. I have all the cards as well, haven't dropped a dime. It's so easy to make stubs that I consider it a waste to spend money on this game. Also because the game isn't very good, they're kinda lazy with improvement and your investment will be worthless next year. To each their own, but those are my motivations for not dropping money on this game. Ever.

Three kids, a mortgage, two cars…some of us have more important things to pay for lol. I could spend some money on stubs but I feel like I don’t play enough to justify it. Plus I still play ball, my son plays too and that comes with league fees. Gotta save money somewhere.

Oh for sure I was just curious cause I see the whole “nms”, “0 dollar spent” thing thrown around a lot. Like if I gave you 50$ to buy stubs would you? Or would you be like fk that I got better sht to spend it on

Technically you bought the game; so you spent money.

Why is this always an argument? Why does anyone else give 1 [censored] about what someone else spends their money on? Or how many hours a day someone has to flip cards?
Insane to me

there are people who do not have the time at home or work, so they spend money. Then you got players who have the money to spend so they do. To each there own. Working the Market and taking what the game gives you if you have the time to play there is no reason to spend extra money.

I mean, if you’re giving away money I’ll buy some stubs. My wife won’t have to know I’m spending someone else’s money lol. I hear what you’re saying. I got nothing against anyone who does it. For some people this game is one of their hobbies, if not their only one. People spend their disposable income on their hobbies. Personally I just have too many hobbies to be like, “I’ll spend my money here because I got nothing else to do for fun.” I also feel like I got a lot of decent cards from just completing the various programs and opening free packs. I haven’t gotten Trout but I got deGrom, Jose Ramirez, Craig Biggio and a bunch of other really good diamond cards that way. If I felt like my team was at a disadvantage I might drop a few bucks and try my luck with more packs but this game makes it so easy to get good cards from just playing and I don’t play enough to care about rankings (I don’t play enough to rank high) that I just personally don’t feel the need to do it.

I'm also no money spent and have pretty much everything from grinding...The main reason is that I'm not very good online, I can't hit well, and losing after spending money doesn't feel great. Makes it feel like a waste. Getting everything free feels like an accomplishment, keeps me engaged, and I don't rage out when I lose.
I have nothing against spending money, I used to on NHL and Madden and the first DD, it's just not my thing anymore. I like collecting and I'm just not that competitive. But I think it's totally fine for those that do. It's entertainment spending. It's really not any different than going to a movie or out to dinner, etc.

This post seems like a "look at me flex" post. The quick anger at a response and the I make more money then you comment just screams child.

Because nowadays people believe they have the "Right" to interfere in other peoples lives. The internet now means your life is not your own and others can police everything you do for your own good! Thank you and have a goodnight.......we will be watching.
