It's called pitching from the stretch my man. That only usually happens when a hit occurs. There are a select few pitchers who pitch from the stretch only. Most are relievers. I take it you don't know much baseball? That's okay it's just an observation.

Or he is young and learning. You started out cool with advice and it all crumbled when you had to make your "observation." Tool.

I strictly play vs cpu at the moment I am not good enough to compete online. I have noticed that once the opponent gets a hit your pitcher speeds up his animation for the rest of that side. I know it sounds ridiculous but I have limited tine to play this game usually and shaving off a second every pitch adds up over time. Is there a way to get this to happen all the time or then getting a hit is the only way?

You can always intentionally walk the first batter and your pitcher will be in the stretch as long as someone is on base. The downside is your opponent has a runner on base. As other people mentioned you can find a pitcher that throws from the stretch instead of a windup. I do not recommend slide stepping every pitch. You will throw some meatballs.

I did not take offense to what he said, I do not think he meant it in a negative way, or at least I hope not lol. But yeah I am just starting to get back into baseball, feeling oretty lost but the community on here has been very helpful. Last time I watched baseball Giambi was new to the yankees.

Thanks for the advice. I am pretty happy with my pitching staff right now so I will probably just try the walk method and if it starts screwing me over I will just make do with thr long windups.

I was asking a question nor did I come off as douche. It would help with teaching the player. Just saying. So who looks like the tool with your observation 🤔

Thank you by the way. Wasn't trying to come off as an idiot and glad you understood. If I was I wouldn't have went in to the explanation. Yankee fan? Good stuff. I've been a diehard since 85. Giambi years were some good years to watch the Yankees. Welcome to Show Nation by the way.

Press and hold L2. IDK how it’s called on xbox. It will slide step at the expense of pitcher’s control.

This only works when pitching out of the stretch, which means most relievers are able to do it and some starters with bases empty, for most starters you’ll need a runner on base

If you do this method you are more prone to hang a pitch or be off on the location.

You can walk the first hitter and pitch from the stretch, that will speed up the windup Animation.

Yep, grew up a Yankee fan from my grandpa he was die hard, would remove his hat just driving past Yankee stadium. Used to watch back when Hideki was there Bernie Sheffield fun times, kind of just fell off watching as I got older, my grandpa passed away 2 years ago so I have been trying to follow it again. Always been on xbox so I never had access to this game, however fron playing this it makes getting back into baseball easier. Now if I watch a game I can be like [censored] Trout hits much better than when I use him lol.

Sorry for your loss. Grandpa is watching. Lost my sis 2 years ago as well..Things have happened that let's me knownthere is more to life and the after life as well than when you go that's it! I believed that forever. There is more to it than that bro bro 🤟🤘🤙That old stadium was something special, you could feel it! The energy was real, VERY. Miss that place.. It does make it easier getting back into it, in fact even more so. Get some knowledge of even prospects coming up and what not.
