This patch hurt the marginal players the worst. Pissed off the best players, but they'll always survive. And obviously helped much lesser skilled players. Those same top players will tell you it will be an absolute [censored] show because there is only a 3 game series or sometimes just 1 and they aren't 9 inning games to decide things out vs a whole season worth of more games played than anybody else to help balance it out.

Those same top players that win those tourneys are the ones also complaining about the latest patch, in some cases the loudest.

I think you are missing the point. Sure, the best players as a group hit well enough to overcome rng (by giving themselves more chances), but what do you think it will look like for a $10k prize game between Kyle and Reb to come down not to who played best, but who got luckiest that game.

My bad, I thought you were inferring that top players will get upset by “little billys”
