It doesn't exist in this game. Everything is run down for a groundout or a double play. Literally 9 out of 10 times you hit it straight to an infielder and when it does go towards the hole, the fielder turns into Ozzie Smith for the snag. Either that, or the infielder makes an error on the most routine grounder of all time by letting it go under the glove.

Personally, I get more annoyed at how many times I hit it to "the only man standing on that side of the infield" when the shift is on.

In one of my BR games earlier my 2nd basemen got to the ball while moving to his right. He had more than enough time to get the runner at first, but he had a super slow throwing animation for no reason whatsoever. It was one of those animations where they think they have all the time in the world so they tap the glove once or twice before lobbing it in, which allowed the runner to be safe by a step. Cost me two runs since my opponent went from 2nd to home on the play. Really pissed me off, but thankfully I made it to 100 points so I can step away from BR for a while.

It's all rng my guy. You get a hit when the game decides you get a hit. I'm thoroughly convinced of this. User input just doesn't matter as much as it should.

The problem compounding this is every in the hole amazing play is followed by a perfect throw due to button accuracy. Nothing realistic about the way it plays at all.

Dude I hate those animations more than anything. Feels so rigged every single time. Glad you made it to 100 points, I did too and I will definitely step away from the game for a bit just like you whenever my current run goes bust. I have all the guys anyway so at this point it's a stub bank more than trying to get players.

And don’t forget that every pitcher is a gold glove and makes routine grabs on hard hits up the middle catching it behind their back. Very impressive indeed…..

Ah yes the good ole pitcher wall. People complain about it every year and yet it never gets fixed.

Kind of like how OFers play too close to the line, run down every ball flawlessly and cut off what should be doubles down the line. What about those huge gaps in LCF and RCF? Don't worry they'll zoom to the gap while the ball floats.

Definitely agree with not finding a hole in the infield. Even the outfield is the same. I use Blackmon and Bichette on the corners and have had little to no issues with them at all because everything is generally hit right to them.

The game predetermines if it will be a hit or not and it’s not really based around how good your defense should be. It’s just a matter of if they will hit it right at someone or not.
