Is there a benefit to using more skill based controls?

I see a lot of youtubers use the PCI hitting and pinpoint pitching. Is there a benefit to using those over the easier classic pitching and directional hitting? I realise it is more interactive and might be more enjoyable, however is it better once mastered? I have been using classic and directional and recently started testing waters with pci and pinpoint. I find it difficult, am I chesting myself by not learning these or are they just there for a more authentic feel?

Less dependence on RNG, therefore more control on the results

It depends also on what you're playing. If you're heavy online...yeah practice Zone and PPP. If you're just playing offline...use whatever you enjoy using
