It should only be a factor in HoF+ games. If you’re using it on all star, you’re probably hurting yourself.
Even on HoF, most people who use contact swing seem to just get the occasional soft hit, amongst many quick outs. I honestly don’t see what people are complaining about.

You're blind then. In RS pitches will be a foot out of the strikezone and contact swing PCI size is so big that the ball is dead center. Cranking 450 ft homeruns with contact swing lmao. Of course you still have to time it and the PCI reacts the same way it does on normal swings and power swings (too low below the ball it's a pop out, too high above the ball it's a ground out etc) but being 3x the size with no decrease in power is ridiculous. It defeats the purpose of calling it a contact swing...

At this stage I honestly think that contact swing has the normal swing velocity and power but with a bigger pci
I’ve nailed lots of normal swings that have either rolled over or been a pop up.
Until they did it I’m contact only thanks

Yeah contact swing should increase chance to put ball in play , but u should lose power on that ball in play! Like a power decrease should auto happen! But I've hit alot of 2 strike contact swing homers! I was against contact swing. But this years game is so pitcher overpowered! U have to fight back right???

No i have tried both and they have same exit velo results etc. contact swing gives you bigger pci with same hitting results. It is broken

Yes contact swing, if you don’t use it you aren’t rewarded. Just lost 3-1 and I had 30 good good’s and 4 hits. Perfect perfect resulted in my other 2 hits. My opponent contact swings and is rewarded with 2 homeruns and a triple. It’s sad that we can’t enjoy a game because SDs refuses to fix it
