Disappointing thing about Team Affinity

The points counter doesn’t continue to count when you hit 70. I was really hoping I could continue to grind it out since I use mostly Rockies players all year. Would be cool to have it keep track after 70 so when the newer stuff drops, you already have it unlocked.
Just an FYI in case you were wondering what happens when you hit 70 right now.

Yeah they communicated this multiple times on steam, to prevent people from being already at the level where the future FOTF cards will appear.

And I think it has to do with
A. They are releasing a new set of missions/moments/showdown with it. You will still be able to get points via innings/MTO, but the divisional showdowns say stage 1 on them so im guessing a new one will be released for stage 2
B. Card Discovery -although less likely: They dont want a card to be discovered and have A PSN on the card just for simply logging into the game first. They should have to earn it -

Ah ok. I didn’t catch any of the streams. I kind of figured that would be the case but was hopeful it wouldn’t stop counting since last year it continued to count even with no future rewards.
Anyways, hope this helps someone find an answer if they aren’t sure.

I agree with most of their logic here, however, it makes no sense in the case of MTO. I currently have a run stopped because I’m at 70 and don’t want to lose the points I’d get from completing the playoffs.
