Game Frozen on Purpose

Apparently walking the bases loaded and stepping off and throwing home freezes the game. Going for my 12th win in BR and my opponent does this. Might want to fix that SDS. Might want to ban him for doing it too. @Collin_SDS @Victor_SDS

I am in the same boat. I was playing my 12th game in BR on my second account. My opponent used a bunting glitch to freeze the game. I am in a freeze off for 5 hours now. SDS, plz fix this glitch ASAP. People are using it intentionally nowadays.

Without explaining what they did in detail; how do you know it was them that initiated it?
I've heard of the way people can force one from what was in that video the person shared on YouTube. But I've never heard of one being forced by bunting.
I do know the servers were a litt messed up earlier, so it could've been from that.
Not saying they didn't force it; but freeze offs, other than the two ways mentioned in the video, have been happening for years.
It's usually the game coding.

I saw somebody try to force a freeze about an hour ago. He tried twice and didn’t work so he dashboarded.

This is pathetic by SONY. Honestly, I feel bad for the developers. We [censored] on them constantly and ask are they even working? You have seen my posts and I have been quite harsh on them in the past. They launched cross play and made this game exponentially more difficult to code and support. I am not an engineer but I work for tech companies planning their headcount and expenditures based on development. This is the typical corporation Sony telling SDS to do more with less because it is during Covid-19. I think we have all experienced this. If you want to prove this then you should look at how many individuals they have hired over the past year. Seems like the same individuals there to me. Their patches in 20 and 19 have been quick, but we are running into the deadline where they will start working on 22 now.

I've played almost 80 games in ranked seasons and haven't seen this happen yet.
I do believe the person knows this works from the video you linked. Why TF would they do that if they didn't know it would work.
Hopefully they can figure this out because stuff like this is the reason I won't play BR
