If we’re strictly talking flame throwing LHRP, it’s slim pickings
Plesac can touch 100 on his FB but I prefer the 83 Diekman. Slower velo but deceptive delivery and sinker to boot

I am actually cool with bringing in a left that throws 5-6 miles less than a righty who throws 98+. It's enough of a speed/angle change to throw off batters for a bit. use your LRP for an inning and then switch back to righty flame-thrower.

Agree on both. Diekman is one of my go to relievers in the current event. His control is terrible but pitches are great. And that Prime Britton card is fantastic. Had it LY (don’t recall if it was a BR or WS reward) and was very strong as his sinker is very tough to hit.

Pretty sure he was a headliner and I hope he’s better because he was cheeks last year. It seems when they put outlier on the sinker it flattens it out.
The LS Britton has been amazing for me this year in BR so I hope it’s a good sign

Wasn’t a headliner as the headliner reliveres were McGee, Dibble and Smoltz.
Britton was a very rare card last year as he was an early reward for BR I think.
