when opponents quit in the first-third innings? No way pitchers should have exhausted energy after 10 pitches just because an opponent quits lol

Careful what you wish for. We don’t need a Cabrera/Vida combo every single game like Kluber/Newhouser last year. I’d rather it be how it is now, otherwise you wouldn’t even need a 4th or 5th starter.

that's a fair point. Last year was horrible but having to wait 3-4 games to use that card again seems silly. You're right though, don't want to have what we had last year.

I like it the way it is.... if a starter gets stretched out and throws competitively, it is realistic to wait your next turn. The game stays more enjoyable when starters are starters and relievers are relievers.

Well its kinda like a rain out if the game ends in the 3rd inning the pitcher doesnt pitch again till its 5th day

We need a Nerf on the stamina when glavine can pitch into the seventh inning at 90 pitches and still has 3/4 green that is ridiculous so how many can he throw? 250 pitches? On the flip, just because your starter didn't throw a full game, your opponent quit and you got the win. He needs to wait his turn.
