I posted earlier about how I can beat the cpu on legend regularly but can't hit anything online on allstar difficulty. I dont have any unrealistic expectations on my self but I would like to play better online. Any advice would be great. Not to be melodramatic but its an absolutely crushing feeling, like I've wasted so much time trying to accomplish somthing that will never happen for me. Again any advice, please.
Also this is the first year I switched to zone (from analog). It works great vs cpu but online its so hard with cutters and sinkers always zipping around right on the black every time. If you can help me out thanks. If not thanks for reading. And if you are new too, and struggling, you're not alone, not everyone on here is goated lol

One thing I would try to do as much as possible is stay on the same difficulty. The pitch speeds on all star feel a lot more manageable if I’m consistently playing online on it instead of having to adjust with grinding lower difficulties offline. Everything else will improve the more you play such as pitch recognition. Best of luck and hope this helps.

Thanks. I'll stay on allstar difficulty for sure, as I dont see myself ever making to to a point is rs where the difficulty increases.

If you can put up runs against the CPU on legend, I’m sure with the right approach you can compete on all star
With being new to zone, I would advise to pick one quadrant of the plate, keep your pci there and wait for your pitch in that general area so you don’t have to move your pci much
With practice and time, you'll be able to cover the entire plate with some consistency. Try to relax as much as you can and don’t let the fact that you’re playing online psych you out
Sit on fastball, react to offspeed, and really focus on the pitchers release point. Once you have that approach down and see the ball well, try to then work counts and swing at your pitch, not the pitchers pitch
You got this man, practice practice practice. This live series event would be a good place to build the skills

Best advice you can get right there. I sit high and in with my pci, anticipating fastball. With practice you’ll start to get the timing down. I still struggle from time to time but waiting fastball and reacting to off speed is a great approach.

Sup brotha. We all been there don’t worry. Best advise is to come up with a game plan. The CPU on HOF and legend is predictable most of the time and actually throw in the zone so you can’t go with the same approach cause dudes will throw you a 3-2 slider way out the zone they don’t care if they ever throw a strike.
My 1 and 2 hitter I like to take until two strikes cause their job is to get on base. Guys 4,5,6 swing away.
If your batting righty and facing a righty cut the inside plate off. Dudes are gonna jam sinkers and sht in there all day and even if you time one up it won’t do anything. Look middle away. I sit up and then just slide it over cause they will throw you something away multiple times an AB. Good luck man

Thanks guys. I'll take your advice and see what happens. I may need to up my connection too, as I've read that could be a problem. I'll figure it out, I hope.
