Who do you think gets the "Hero/Lightning Guy" card for May POTM?

I did a poll on Twitter the other day and I narrowed the choices down to Nicholas Castellanos, Marcus Semien, Kevin Gausman and Max Muncy. Out of those four, I think that Marcus Semien is the most deserving but I could see them going with Castellanos or Gausman.
Obviously, there were a ton of players that had an incredible month of May, guys like Vlad Jr., Brandon Woodruff, Lance Lynn, Jesse Winker, Brandon Crawford, Austin Riley, Adolis Garcia, Trey Mancini, Max Scherzer, Casey Mize, Jose Abreu, Zack Wheeler and Rich Hill would be tough to overlook almost any other month. That said, out of that group I just mentioned, I would imagine that Woodruff and Crawford are the only somewhat serious contenders that I could see included amongst the top-4 I included in my Twitter poll.
For anyone who cares for this type of thing, here are the players I'd like to see get a card somewhere in the May 2021 POTM program:
Lightning Guy: Marcus Semien, Kevin Gausman or Nicholas Castellanos
High Diamonds: Zack Wheeler, Ramon Laureano, Brandon Crawford, Alex Reyes and Jose Abreu
Mid-Range Diamonds: Yoan Moncada, Mitch Haniger, Trey Mancini, Miguel Rojas and Trevor Rogers
Golds & Low Diamonds: Casey Mize, Robbie Ray, Bryan Reynolds and Tarik Skubal
Semien should be the guy, and justice for Reyes!

Always classy buddy..
Instead of being an immature [censored], have a debate why you think the guy who actually won the award shouldn't get it?

I’m not your buddy, pal.
I think it should be Tatis. Like I said in the other thread. If y’all want Semen then they should give y’all Semen. Have fun playing with Semen, I’ll stick with Story and CAP duo.

Personally, not only would I like to see Semien get it because he's a former member of the White Sox, but I also think he's someone I may try to work into my lineup if the card is good enough.
I've never liked Castellanos' swing and he seemingly gets a "Lightning Guy" card just about every year. Gausman might be kind of cool, but his arsenal wouldn't be that exciting aside from the Splitter.

Question. How many times did someone get the lightning card who didn't actually win POTM in AL or NL?
I can't imagine many if any at all...
Tatis is a 90+ already so I think it should be obvious
6 out of 21. April 2017, June 2017, August 2017, August 2018, August 2019, and September 2019

So a very low chance it isn't.. cool. And out of those times, were the winners high diamonds already?

No sir. I think the only lightning cards that were even diamonds to start their respective months were Verlander 18, Tatis and Jram 20, and maybe goldschmidt 18

It has happened before on a few occasions can recall all of them but I know August and September of 2019 the lightning cards where not the MLB POTM.
I know at some point in a stream maybe in 20q9 it's was stated that the look to highlight cards that preformed above what was expected of them. They used the Trout example that if Trout won POTM and was leading the league you would expect that but if some say like Winker or Simien win AL or NL POTM they are playing above what I expected of them so they will get the POTM cards.
They only example of this not being the case was May 2018 POTM when Verlander was the lighting card and it was only rated 91 or 92 and it wasn't much different from his live series.
Overall Tatis with 92 live series won't get the lightning card in fact he won't even get a card, the lightning card will be Simien, Winker or Wheeler

It would be tough for Winker to have that good of a card with his current splits and being a gigantic black hole of defensive value.
