Does anybody actually...

does anybody actually believe this game plays "normally" online? Like everything is fine and there is absolute 0 manipulation? Genuinely asking. My experience, whether I've won or lost, it seems like it can be out of my hands. There's obviously some input, but it amazes me the amount of amazing comebacks that happen. Again being on both sides of this (see my last game). It's an incredibly frustrating game online this year. Just feels gross.

It’s pretty obvious the system controls it right? I can be honest about it. I played a guy about a week ago had me looking like a fool. 9th inning I couldn’t miss a ball. And walked it off. And he brought in 3 pitchers so it isn’t that.
And we’ve all seen it. Up by 2 or 3. Our opponent clearly isnt real good. Has no hits through 5. Then all of sudden bam bam bam. No matter what you throw dude ain’t gonna miss. Then he scratch across 2 and it’s 3-2 and he goes right back to flailing around until the 9th. Better be careful there. Seriously how many games does this describe hahah.

YEP. This is every game. At the very least, if you're up by a few, like clockwork within an inning or two the opponents (or your hitters) suddenly can hit enough to bring the score super close. Every game.

In addition, I've been playing this game for over 10 years now. I know there's a ton of NEW players playing the game this year. It's amazing how rare blow outs are.
Hmmmm couldn't possibly be that SDS doesn't want the new players to feel the experience of sucking at the game and thus quitting playing. I guess that's a whole other conversation. But yeah this game feels manipulated at times BIG time. Nearly every game.

The player has little to no control when the randomized nerfing starts. Someone that is really-really adept could possibly foul off a few more pitches or put themselves in more favorable counts, but that's only if they aren't so nerfed that AI allows the animation to reflect they're making contact.
I've never played a 9 inning RS game where my swing (PCI placement) wasn't falsely represented by the animation. Sometimes I won't touch my controller and the animation will show the placement move right or left out of the middle of the zone (it's default resting place) to justify a foul.
The most telling is when I get the boosts and know that I check up on a pitch and don't move my PCI but blast one out of the park and the animation shows my contact point no where near where I swung. Whack and perfect contact. That's when you really notice and are sure of the rigged play when you get all the advantages. Just obvious what's happening.
Fast balls that just stop on the edge of the zone like they've got brakes, breaking balls that defy physics and break 8 inches out of the zone at the very last second. Guys over-running second for no apparent reason and being tagged. Double-plays started by pitches struck above the top of the zone (can happen but I've never seen it before).
You know when a double-play is going to happen and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it but sit back and watch the inning end with runners in scoring position.
99 speed/base-stealers getting 15 foot leads and getting thrown out on attempted steal from an 85 mph breaking ball in the dirt.
Other than all those things that are prevalent, it's pretty much on the up and up.

Yeah this isn’t true in my experience playing this year. I don’t play RS very much because I don’t like the toxic environment that has been created by all the different exploits people are abusing this year (bunt cheesers, r2 cheesers, pause cheese, freeze off cheese), but in my 8 RS games to this point I have blown my opponent away in 6 of them (3 first inning quits and 2 mercy rules) and only 1 was in jeopardy until he disconnected in the 8th and I believe his create a stadium had something to do with that. FYI don’t use them in online play I’ve seen way to many disconnects when people use these stadiums. Just my opinion though.
