People like that are generally horrible at the game and they’re only way to actually win is to annoy the [censored] out of you until you quit.

Why do people feel the need to validate their pathetic lives with a W/L record in a video game? Especially when your record doesn't matter in Events?

The last FIVE games I've played my opponent(s) has done EVERYTHING in their power to make the game miserable to try for a cheap win.

    Bunt dancing: ✅
    Holding R2: ✅
    Taking an extra lead: ✅
Stepping off constantly while pitching: ✅
Quick pitching when not stepping off: ✅
Running back and forth between the bases when i try to pick off a steal attempt: ✅

You name it; I bet they tried it.

Its come to the point where if you want the win that bad; you can have it. But not until after I proceed to waste your time by pitching out there times then hitting your batter with a pitch AFTER I run my pause time down to '0'.

Heck, I don't care if I lose. I just want a fair game. I'm o my playing to pass time until Fri and maybe get the two 42 packs so I can sell the players.

But I'd rather get the 100K I would probably make from selling them by just buying a bundle of stubs.

With what I make an hour; it won't even put a tiny dent in my income if I spend $100 on stubs.

It would be better than sitting through 40 plus games of people acting like childish idiots.

And people wonder why I try to stay away from online play. smdh

I will engage in a step off war every time you take that extra step with 99 speed, it's uncalled for and some of us are scarred from mlb 15 and 16 speed cheese. The solution is just stopping to come set and not taking the extra lead if they're clearly paying attn to the runner

That's just it. I wasn't taking an extra step. The fastest guy I had on my team was 42 Tim Anderson.

He did it with EVERY one I got on base. 42 Perez: Step off a few times then pitch. Pause game for a second. Rinse and repeat.

And what's with the slide stepping when NOBODY is on base.

As I stated, its more than likely because they want that 'almighty' win. We'll, I'd they want it that bad; I'll give it to them. But it's going to cost them about 5 mins with of time and a loss at parallel stats.

You can only step off 2x if they don't get a bigger lead..and the slidestep without guys on gets greeted with an r2 hold to make them come set

Many ppl don't realize how awful 15 was without r2 being used to slow guys down and when sds turned balks on cried about it...so r2 is your compromise for no balks

Thank you!!! If You take an extra step over and over, I will wait for the timer to pick my pitch than step off for an hour straight if you don’t get the message. This annoys me more than bunt dancing.

Did it 20 min straight last night vs a guy lol. The best part is injuries CAN happen on bases, it may take 150 tries but eventually that guy will slide back to the bag and get hurt and it's [censored] glorious when you finally get the animation

Lol, now I have to see that one. I usually get a pick off eventually. If they do get to second and try it, I always get them.

Well I haven't got it since 2017 but I imagine injuries behave the same way where it's mainly just pitchers who can get hurt...but every once in a while hurting that billy Hamilton circle swinger feels vindicative

still confused how you get quick pitched in a video game. are you putting the controller down in between pitches to tighten your batting gloves. as far as stepping off I will if there is less than two outs, you can try to get an extra lead just like I can step off. two outs do whateveer you wantt man

I cant figure out how to do what i always thought was quick pitching. You used to hold L2 when pitching to lessen your stride as a pitcher.
That doesn't seem to work for me. Am I missing something or was it removed? If it was removed, what is quick pitching?

One of the worst things they did was take balks away.

Why do people feel the need to validate their pathetic lives with a W/L record in a video game? Especially when your record doesn't matter in Events?

The last FIVE games I've played my opponent(s) has done EVERYTHING in their power to make the game miserable to try for a cheap win.

Especially bc you didn't have to do the whole animation it was literally coming set for one second...really not much

Doesn't stepping off and throwing over deplete your energy?

Nope. Take of the tinfoil demise

How am I wearing a tinfoil hat? I just asked a simple question.

I've had 3 successful pick offs this cycle. Which doesn't seem like much but thats more than I've gotten the last 3 cycles combined. Love whatever they changed to at least have a chance.
