TA Seasons Question

I didn’t get last years game and didn’t know about team affinity being seasonal now. So with season 2 starting tomorrow, if I don’t finish all the divisions, then I’ll never get the 42 Jackie card?

Part 1 will still be there to complete. It's not required to start the Part 2 this year.
Also, there will 5 left over 42 players that you will have to purchase. That is unless they start selling the packs which I doubt they will.

I know, especially at the end of the season there is always a way to earn everything in the game in the 11th inning program. Not to be a spoiler or anything, but I think that's the way it goes...lol

Has it been this way in 19 and 20?
It was that way last year, and that was my first year on DD, so I cannot really say prior to that.
