Bad fielders making gold glove plays

See this too much in showdown and moments. This needs to be patched. A guy with mid 60’s fielding shouldn’t be robbing me of home runs or making Trout esque diving catches

fr i've never seen the CPU dive and miss the ball it's kind of ridiculous.

Yeah, even in offline (play vs. cpu) it happens WAY too much. I'm not one to complain about much when it comes to the game but it is a little ridiculous.

They make a lot of insane plays, but then I get the occasional play where the outfielder drifts on the ball and doesn't make the catch on a ball I thought was catchable. While it is frustrating when it happens, all things considered I haven't dealt with bad defenders making superstar plays at a crazy rate.

I put Colten Wong at Catcher because i needed his affinity mission done. He was only a 2nd baseman, no secondary. I had Huera at 2nd as well, no secondary plus an affinity mission. Wong was out of position.
What happened was so hilariously bad i had to quit, fix my lineup, and restart it. I wish recorded it. It was to worst blunder of passed balls, throwing errors, and unexpectedly tragic fielding that i felt bad for him.
Never again.

I was playing showdown and hit a wall scraper hr only to have Conforto of all people make a Griffey Jr type home run rob. Like seriously? Lol

I think for me its the frequency that these robbery style plays occur that bothers me.
They really are highlight reel catches but the problem is that if you told me you had 10 consecutive highlight reel outs made against you in a Showdown would you be shocked? I know i wouldnt

Oh I am not arguing that it happens and it is incredibly annoying. The other day I had my Showdown winning run on 3rd base and the infielders made 3 straight diving saves on balls that were smashed and threw me out at first and I couldn't score. Eventually won the Showdown anyway but I was about to lose my mind. I was just saying I haven't had those experiences with the frequency of some folks on here apparently.
