Ballplayer Conflict

Let me know man if you figure it out. This is happening to me and I’ve done the same as you in terms of deleting saves and re-installing. I’ve written to support a few times and finally someone got back the other day and gave me something to try that didn’t work.
It is pissing me off, because I can’t even progress my created character and use him in DD. I even saved a video of what I see on my show and uploaded it to my YouTube (https://youtu.be/FTUYkzMY_Uo) and sent it to support.
This has been happening to me since release as well.
Definitely stay in touch and let me know if you get any resolution.

I submitted a few tickets regarding this but have yet to hear from support. I somewhat fixed it by choosing the server version of my ballplayer, only changing a couple of attributes like pronounced name and number, saved the changes, backed out to the main menu, then restarted the game. Once back in I checked to see if my changes saved. If they did I made more changes. Rinse and repeat. Eventually, I got all the ballplayer visual settings that I wanted except the written name for the ballplayer. For some reason it will not take. At least the pronunciation version of my ballplayer name works.

Will it keep your loadouts doing it this way or will it just have some default one associated with it?
Thanks though, I’ll see if I can at least do this for now.

My loadouts have been the one thing that's actually worked.

Yeah, I kinda got it working as you did. I have it with my actual name and didn't quite change all the looks, but at least it seems to be working this way, so I'm just going to roll with it.

This is happening to me as well , should i just choose keep server data instead of keeping local data?

In the settings section of your ballplayer, click on upload to server. Close app then reopen. Should fix it.

I just googled and found this thread as I just started having this issue too after I decided to finally customize my ballplayer. I tried starting a RTTS file with my ballplayer to see if that would keep it uploaded on the server but it didn't fix it. I guess I will keep a tab on this thread until a fix is found. I have only been playing on my Series X, if that matters.

I found out the fix. You have to change your players name. It then updated in DD and started tracking my stuff again.

Yea my player doesn't transfer in DD but it works in rtts

I've done it multiple times and it didn't fix the issue for me. My DD player is still Joe Random no matter what I do.

this is really annoying, every daily moment with "my ballplayer" is just Joe Random with no stats and stuff. I really wish there was a way to fix it. I guess I could try picking to use the data from the server instead of local data, but I really don't want to customize everything again because I spent a good amount of time doing all the details.

I can’t even find my ballplayer in DD. It says he’s a LF at 79 rating and he’s just not there at all lol. This whole ballplayer experiment was an absolute failure, they better go back to the normal format next year.

He will probably be a 65 or close to that in DD. The OVR does not update on the actual card in DD as far as I know. So search at around 65 when you look for him.

I don’t see him at all to be honest, I went through every page of every card I own. Not there at all, I’m not even stressed about it I gave up on CAP a while ago lol. It’s just a mess, they destroyed it.

Yeah I also don't have my ballplayer in DD but I think its related to it not using my ballplayer in the daily moments and how every time I log in I have to choose "use local data" because it tells me the server ballplayer doesnt match my local one. I don't know if there is a way to upload the local data to the server, but I feel like that would fix it.

So, I just got home, I searched for my ballplayer and it says he’s a 65 rated catcher…but he’s a spark plug LF…anyway, I go to look for him under manage squad catchers and he’s not there lol.

Hello brothers this happens when you turn off the console badly or when you overwrite a saved data. also the potential of the player says F although it is does not affect the promotion to MLB
