LG CX/C1 Guys

Just wondering what setting you guys are playing on for competitive online play. There are so many ways to go. I can tell a very slight difference if you turn off VRR, HDR and just go 4K 120 HZ.
I know you can trim the input lag a bit more my going 1080 P, but I can’t stand how blurry it is.
Let me know....thank.

I don't have that monitor but 4k vs 1080 usually has no effect on input lag. Also 60hz is all you can effectively use for this game as it cannot go over 60fps

I’m playing on Xbox and I have it on 120 Hz. Even if the game is only displaying at 60 FPS I believe the 120 Hz setting will cut the input lag in half if I’m comprehending what I have read correctly.
The oled is nice because it is instant response time/refresh rate.

It doesn't cut it in half because it is based on FPS. And that is 60. If the game could run at 120 then your monitor input lag would be at whatever it states for 120hz

According to the rtings test, you're best bet is 4k at 120hz without VRR.
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/cx-oledThe refresh rate and frame rate are independent. If you tell the xbox to output at 120hz, it will output that regardless of the framerate. To test this, bash the green button on the LG remote. After a number of times, it will display the signal that is receiving and show 120HZ along with other info.

Well If Sony was in the year 2021 we'd have the ability to use 1440p and jack it up over 144hz...but umm..yea.
