If a guy throws same pitches and same locations over and over and you get 2 hits that’s on you not the game. Sit on whichever one you hit the best, ignore the rest and play homerun derby.
I’m not that good just chilling in all star right now not a fan of HOF online but I know on all star I had a guy last night do this and I just assumed he wanted his fans to get a lot of souvenirs. On HOF [censored] near anything works unless your facing top players.

If you know what's coming and you can't hit it, that's you not the meta. If you know what's coming and where, line up the pci and work on your timing. Will be a HR 80% of the time you connect.

Yeah those types of pitches aren't that tough to hit if you can time it right. If anything, it's way easier than it should be for trash PCI droppers to hit low offspeed, at least on all star difficulty. You really need to get that offspeed in the dirt or away enough that they can't pull it in the air or it's gone. If you're playing hall of fame difficulty or higher, those pitches are a bit tougher to hit if they are out of the zone...so you'll have to have a good eye and make sure it's in the zone. If it is, slider low and away is still pretty easy to rifle opposite field and changeup down and in basically you might as well put it on a tee.

I throw so many sliders this year over and over and people can’t hit it. I’ll throw 6 in an at bat and they keep looking for the fastball. As long as you spot your pitches right. Most people on here aren’t good enough to just read it every time

I played a guy the other day who did the exact same pitch mix and location the entire game.
Pitch 1: Slider - Low and Away
Pitch 2: Change - Down and In
Pitch 3: Variation of Fastball and SinkerDude only gave up 2 hits the entire game with Pedro.
I knew what was coming, was set up to hit it, and still couldn't do anything. A bunch of good/good outs, but that's beside the point.
I typically have a lot of success with Fernando, so I've thought off-speed has been much more useful, but [censored], that was maddening lol.
There are no knuckle ballers but guys like Valenzuela are the equivalent. Even if you square up their annoying boring off speed pitches they don’t always reward you.
The Fn screwball has some frames missing or something. It seems like you time it perfectly and it says late. The game is a mess and as usual the guys that made sure they had Chipper before entering online play know exactly which pitchers and pitches are cheese.

This works better this year because check swing cheese isn’t an option anymore.

Last year you could make a living throwing high fastballs. this year movement is the meta for sure.

Offspeed has been the meta since ‘18 when slowpitch fastballs were introduced
