Franchise Injury Management, Roster Issues
-
In franchise mode, I cannot find any way to manually add & remove player injuries. Also, I cannot seem to have more than 13 pitchers on an active 26 man roster. I know prior to the 2020 season MLB was going to set a maximum number of pitchers to the newly implemented 26 man roster to 13, however due to covid this rule was not instated and still is not enforced.
This creates an issue for me as I like to synchronize the real life active rosters to each day of the season as I play through, and many teams are carrying 14 pitchers so I’m not able to match my daily rosters true to life.I also notice when modifying and saving a custom roster, even though when creating a new franchise mode file you can select a saved roster to begin with once you get in it’s still just the default one. Truly frustrating I hope these problems are addressed.

Have you tried loading the saved custom roster and starting franchise with current roster, which would be saved custom roster?
-
Yep, this was among the various things I tried and it’s always the default roster.

I just did it and it worked. I started the franchise by selecting last option for loading rosters--which I think was load saved roster. The roster starting franchise was my saved custom roster.

I cannot add my eloy to IR

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only person that synchronizes the real day to day rosters with my Franchise...... These issues are beyond frustrating.

start your franchise with CPU roster control OFF. (I select all teams to control in team selection)
also check in the User setting → gameplay , general → Advanced to see if your Injuries setting is manual.
If your setting for injuries is on,you can't edit injuries you need to change to manual.Hope its help. I did that and can edit injuries.
And me too same as many here like to make the rosters as real life. -
