So if you get rid of moments what are you going to replace it?
Why do you need something to replace it with have rtts and franchise for offline. RS,BR, casual and events etc for online with conquest being a bit of both tbh could go either way

The Willy Mays storyline moments last year were cool. The ones with the clips from the past and the narrator talking about everything, the rest are just boring. No excitement while replaying the Jose Bautista bat flip made them seem poorly executed from day 1.
Unfortunately I think they stay a while, content doesn’t get easier then watching mlb players create moments for them haha
-
I enjoy the challenge of moments. I also really like Showdown. I find moments way better than the Daniel Nava/Cal Ripken style missions of 18. Getting 4 doubles in a game is a whole lot better when its player locked vs going through the whole lineup again just for another attempt.
-
I guess we could go back to filling lineups and rotations with random cheap market breakout players to earn a diamond breakout player. I’m sure everyone missing those models. Spoiler alert , Padres play vs cpu isn’t what it use to be
-
[censored] that was a tough read. Still don’t think i comprehend everything you were trying to say.
-
My only issue with moments is when the pitcher can’t throw a strike.
-
This game is nothing but moments. Every facet of the game besides RS, BR, and Conquest involves moments. Hate them myself. It is like a chore.
-
Walks should count as hits or total bases

Sorry brotha if u didnt understand me sober u wont understand me know haha

I kind of like them. Helps me improve I think.

I get it used to be terrible with this in older games etc 4 doubles cal ripkin jr in online. I just feel there could be a better way to do it than moments. Also im 100% firm on the fact that if ur in thw game u get one card and that card goes up or down depending live games the fact that some players get 3 or more cards just with " slightly better than last card" is wack. One player one card change stats accordingly if its a legend then make them the best they was in there career and make them a little harder to get than normal
-
i like moments too - i like redoing real life events and events from the past. baseball has a rich history and I like moments.
i hope they keep it for the long run but i would also ask them to add new modes/features too along w/ moments.
I more of a offline DD and franchise player, but I too understand if it wasn't for DD, they would have stopped making this game 4 years ago as it would not make any money.
-
Never been a fan of them...

Walks or HBP, unless it's a Reach Base moment, should restart the at bat.
Get 2 XBH when in 4 at bats, the pitcher throws 1 pitch in the zone. That is freaking nonsense. We should not be punished for being patient, but we are because a walk does nothing.

The moments are great. Its baseball history

Moments are trash in the past, present and future. Moments do nothing but waste you're time. Short challenges with long load times, faceing platinum Glovers in the field making highlight reel plays, using dudes who should be power hitters that can hit a fly ball to save the planet or how you can need one more hit etc to finish a moment for the pitcher to walk/HBP to fail it. Prime example have tried 20+ times hitting a HR with a guy whos got 93 power iv hit 3 warning track shots not deep barely warning track. Walked twice hbp and base one balls. 7 times with a bases clearling double/triples and the rest have been a popout to shallow outfield or soft ground ball to a infielder
Not joking, this game is like 75% moments lol. If they got rid of them there would only be conquest, events and ranked seasons lol
Sounds like somebody has never hit circle in the DD menu?
-
Yeah, a few things.
Moments where you have to get xbh’s on top of hits, the randomness sucks. Perfect perfect single or at someone.
Far too often there ball to strike ratio is 2:1.
Fielding is absurd.
-
I'm not a fan of 3 hits in a game just because of the randomness involved, but otherwise they're not too bad. They're short and give decent rewards, so why get rid of them? As of right now I'm completed every moment currently in the game that you can access. I haven't reached the player program moments for the new daily program, but I don't think it's possible to get to them yet.

3 hits including a HR can walk off a cliff IMO.

Git goud
Been playing the show for 5 years and other similar ball games for longer if thats the case id be a god by now brother
Then you should be able to do the moments lmao they aren't that hard. Some of them I'll get stuck on for like 20 minutes, but eventually I'll beat them and move on. They aren't that difficult. They're like rookie or veteran difficulty.
Being able to do them doesn't make them fun or entertaining.
