Well you can play him at 3B at a small penalty cost in defensive attributes, because he has a 3B secondary.

This logic is pretty flawed. He plays first base and that is where he best fits on Toronto. Lots of players have been moved from positions that they "want" to play for the better of the team. That is how baseball works.

Just cuz a guy wants to play a different position doesn't mean they just get put there in game. If that was the case a lot of pitchers would be 2-way players and everyone would have SS eligibility.
