BR Is Sketchy

Two BR runs in a row I get screwed at 8-1. This last game my opponent had 4 hits on balls out of the zone, a very late double, very early double, and I had a good good DP on a high fastball. Makes me wonder

It's just the randomness dude, I've had a gazillion examples like that throughout the years. Just redraft and dive back in, you'll be successful eventually.
