I started off hitting over .500 with him, but i've been on a slide with him, now hitting .298(which isn't good for me) I feel like he doesn't have that glitchy power (151 AB with 0 HR and only 3 triples) which isn't good considering I'm aggressive on the base paths. His defense and range is unmatched, but his arm is a noodle at best. I'm not one of those people who do not bunt, unless it is a sac bunt, so take that as you will.

Yup, and I'm the "child". This guy also only plays offline, but has completed collections so he can beat the computer on Veteran. These forums are a hoot!
OP, I like Lofton, but I don't love him. He will be fine for you if you haven't put in the work for TA's yet. Otherwise, there are better options for free.

I’ve pitched against him a lot in the event. He’s been a very easy out.

Pretty much how most games start out.
Serious question, how do you steal? I just hit L2 then take a one step lead and let him do it on his own. Is there a way I can get a better jump??

He’s amazing as usual.
Some parks favr Lefty batters. These parks allow Lofton to hit HR’s. Find one of these parks and play your home games there.
Some people make a false comparison to the Hamilton card. The Hamilton card has good contact power and speed...but only one of the cards had Kenny Lofton’s swing.

Only have used Lofton in Events..
So small sample size.
28 at bats, 10 hits, 3 doubles, 1 triple. 1 hr.
Batting .357
He's pretty solid so far. -

I tried taking him out of my lineup bit had to put him back in. 1) because I needed another lefty bat and 2) he's my 3rd best hitter (358) behind Chipper and finely.
For the record I toil away in AS hell so that's where the bulk of my feedback comes from. Can't even include the games on the way up to AS since most were quits in the 2nd inning or earlier.

For some reason when I have him lead off a game he gets on automatically. Usually a solid single right at second base. Then he scores. After that first at bat I struggle with him. So take that for what it’s worth. I have good amount of offline play with him about 90abs, and probably 30 abs online.
Sometimes it’s a physiological edge just to have that speed guy on even if you don’t steal. I find a lot of people will pitch up in the zone with lofton on base. They are terrified to throw anything super low. I feel that his presence on base definitely helps the hitters coming up after

Definitely a hindrance when he’s on base online. If you’re up against a smart player it’s tough; but too many people steal anytime in any count or bunt too much. Don’t know if it’s recency bias but I’ve thrown out a much bigger % of runners this year. On the other side, I rarely steal but will bait my opponent with an extra lead here and there and sit high in for a FB.
