Is it almost class action time?

Does anyone realize that the largest share of class action suit payoffs go to the lawyers? I've had a settlement from an actual wrongdoing from a video game company that used my likeness without permission and I and got pennies. What do you think you'll get out of this?
Accountability. Precedent. Better future business practice.
I think people are overreacting with this class action lawsuit BS, but you need to change your mindset brother. It's not about you or me and "what do I get out of it", such a lawsuit doesn't evolve around you and your wallet. It evolves around the things mentioned above.

This is funny. Some d-wad wants a class action suit against every game. Call a lawyer, champ.
Ok champ what would you do if a game literally had taken about $180 bucks of your money pls show us your recourse knowitall
Call your CC company. Contact PayPal.
How tf did it cost you $180?
Many of us have purchased cards and locked them in for LS collections. Those cards later disappear from our inventory (I've had this issue).
I contacted SDS about it, they asked for me to screenshot the emailed receipts. I didn't get receipts for purchasing cards in the market....duh.
So I'm out too, lots of us are.
did you spend real money or just stubs?
Yes i purchased stubs, I'm not wanting stubs back. I'm wanting the players I purchased, and the players I pulled from Space 2 packs.
if you purchased stubs fight it with your CC company and get your money back. much easier. just show them your emails with SDS to prove that they are not willing to work with you
My understanding is that charge backs result in an account ban. I'm not willing to risk that.
then your only option is to wait for sds to compensate us somehow
Yez you will be banned and sds isn't responding

just giving you an option to get your 180 back. that seemed like the priority to you

Respectfully, no I don't. I'm a realist. A class action suit is absurd. That is what I was referring to. Do I think they need to fix their act? Yes. Do I think a class action suit would lead to accountability and better business practices more effectively than if done by their customers refusing to use their product/spend another dime/minute on the game? Absolutely not. The monetary gain is the only incentive to a class action suit and I was trying to let people know how miniscule it would be.

Honestly I wouldnt want monetary value from a lawsuit. I would just want SDS to finally held accountable for this. If Sony is being hit with class action after class action they might stop and think maybe its time to cut ties with SDS. The game is unplayable like 60% of the time and when you can actually login, the menu lags and you get the unhandled server error. Gameplay is wonky and stiff as well. Double XP is a farce. I really wish Sony would give other developers a chance.

SDS is not going to get hit with "class action after class action". by the time anything even gets off the ground they will have already compensated everyone and no one will care anymore

Until it happens over and over and over again per the schedule, they need to be hit with something

I understand one looney trying to drum up support for a class action lawsuit — you’re always going to get at least one nutbagel in every group — but all the people who want to follow him into battle should know better.
EDIT: for perspective … I live in Texas. You might remember a couple months ago when literally millions of people were without power and/or water for several days during record low (sub zero) temperatures. This was all due to grossly negligent politicians and power companies who refused to make laws or crucial equipment upgrades that would protect the grid. Something like 3 dozen people froze to death in their own homes because of their heartless, profit-first mentality. Then, due to some shady, borderline criminal fine print, some of the lucky people who didn’t lose power were shocked to find electric bills in the thousands or tens of thousands of dollars for just a few days worth of service. THAT deserves a class action lawsuit. In contrast, for the past 9 days, some multiplayer modes have been inaccessible on a video game.
See the difference?

As awful as that is to read, thank you for putting this little issue into some real perspective. We all need a reminder sometimes.

You guys know how you hold SDS accountable? Stop buying the games and above all stop exchanging real currency for fake currency.
