Computer changes lineup and rotation when simulating

How can i set a lineup and keep it throughout a season when simulating? What exactly is the point of setting my lineups to manual if the computer still has control over my lineup? I just want to set my lineup on the lineup screen and have it never, ever change over the course of a season. Seems like that should be an easy thing for the developers to do. I understand making changes occasionally when players are fatigued, but why cant the lineup screen stay the same?

it can be done by going to settings in franchise, then mode specific and change lineups and rotations to manual? unless that still has them making changes during simulation, I'm not sure
