    Hello to all,

I'm loving this years game and the hitting feels great as well but I cant seem to get good consistent timing which wasn't an issue for me in the past.

Do you guys have any cues to get perfect timing? I'm always late and my see ball hit ball approach isn't working every well for me. Thanks!

Does anyone have any tips? I think it may just be my budget squad getting crushed by better Diamond pitching.

Hitting timing feels great. I ended up having to switch my camera angle I’ve used though. I was off too at first. When I switched the camera, I started hitting.

I think the timing window is smaller than last year. But I’m fine with it.

Something that was suggested to me years ago that really helps when my timing goes wonky, turn off the pci. You’ll still need to “aim” but there’s no visual aide. It really helped to focus more on the pitch and timing and no get distracted with the visuals of the pci.

I turned everything off but outer ring at the end of last year and it has done wonders for me. The pci is a distraction for me I tell myself not to look but it was impossible. I feel like the wide open center with the outer only allows me to see pitch while still feeling like I have an idea of where pci is

I didn’t play last year and 19 didn’t have the outer circle thing. I might try that and see, not exactly sure what the outer ring represents. Also don’t know what the 3 dots in the middle represent either. It varies by hitter on which one is bigger and not sure what the means.

Thats why people talk about batters have a great swing, Like bryce harper for example he lifts his leg and then puts it down so its easier to see the perfect timing on his card , Where as pujols only sort of slide his foot forward so its harder to see the animations

I can't hit anything this year. I wouldn't describe myself as a good hitter in recent years but at least in offline play i would get good results on all star. This year Hits seem to come rarely and Homeruns even more rarely,

If i read the discussion right some of you guys would recommend to play with zone hitting but without the pci to get a better feeling?

Change your hitting view and try and move the pci before the pitch gets to where it will be. You will get more perfects if the pci is still and not moving which means you need reps to see pitches and how they break. Go to practice mode and just practice pitch tracking which will help with this.
