Starting a new archetype
-
I completed the Sparkplug/Spoke archetype all the way through diamond level, and created a new loadout to begin as a Slugger. I am in my 3rd year/second season on the Twins as a 2B, but that position isn't compatible with the Slugger archetype. Do I have to wait for my agent to ask if I want to change positions to match the archetype (LF,RF,3B,1B,C)?
It's already difficult enough dropping my loadout boosts from diamond level back down to bronze - I don't want to worry about an out of position penalty as well. Maybe the best course of action is grinding DD games to get him through the bronze and silver Slugger archetypes.

Just start a new RTTS as you can have several saved. In the Home Screen just hit square vs X when selecting RTTS and then hit new. I have 3 saved - 1 pitcher, 1 SS and 1 OF

Is Archetype the same thing as that top level Program? How the heck are you at Diamond already. I am barely at 71 silver and been playing a lot.
I only want my guy at Catcher for DD purposes. If you switch that top level Program and he switches to another position, does your Catcher remain at that low level and not progress? I am confused about what all this stuff means and how the position switches matter when it comes to wanting your ballplayer to play at Catcher in DD. -

How did you get around the progression bug issues? That as far as I know still has not been fixed?

I skip all baserunning and fielding opportunities to make it that much faster.

Putting him in your leadoff DD spot, playing one at bat with him, and quitting the mode to go back into RTTS
