Do we have 2 separate profiles this year?

I had a rough experience a few years back with losing cards and stubs at launch. SDS did eventually correct it but it was a pain. I told myself id wait for the game to be out for a few weeks before getting it in future years. That worked until this year, when I did the early access. When first opening the game I linked both profiles. I got all sorts of cards and rewards but lost whatever I got at launch. I saw a thread saying to log out of "the show" profile. After doing it, I got all my launch content back but lost everything I received when I was logged into "show profile". Are there 2 separate profiles or something this year? If anyone can explain this, it would be greatly appreciated

Yup. I mean, I don't even care if I lost the stuff when I was logged into "the show" profile. I'm scared to log back into it until I understand it. I just don't want to be doing something wrong. I have a bunch of stuff now and if I lost anything it would suck. I'm probably not even explaining my problem correctly but if anyone knows what I'm talking about, help would be great.
