Pitch speed on Dd

Did they change it this year to where it uses the speed for the person in the higher division instead of the lower? Just played a game I'm at 588 and opponent 7something and all of my players pci looked like the end of a ballpoint pen lol

From what I heard, matchmaking is different between divisions. If he was in the 700’s, that means you played on Hall of Fame difficulty, rather than All-Star.
Usually it defaulted to the lower division player. Apparently now it’s the opposite.

Has to be true I've been playing for 4 years and I've made ws a lot and could tell by the size of the pci it had to of changed from past years

Yes, they said this during the DD stream. Ranked Seasons difficulty is now set based on the higher player's rating.

Not a fan because I don’t want to ever play on legend and I will have to this year

Yeah on occasion, might make it extremely hard to sneak into WS if you happen to face someone 900+ in your last games
