Inexcusable business practices by SDS

This has got to be one of the most pathetic excuses for a game release that I have ever seen. SDS, if your game was clearly not in a state to be released, then DON'T RELEASE IT! I just wasted a considerable amount of time completing the 1st inning showdown only to have it not count once again thanks to the servers being down. Now I have to complete the entire showdown again and most likely the same thing will happen again and it won't count, so I doubt I'll even bother. This game was clearly not ready to be released, and they clearly did not properly test the servers. What a brilliant idea to release it on Xbox Game Pass to millions of people when you probably had a good idea that the servers couldn't handle it.
Is there anything in this game that actually works right? Here's a list of just some of the bugs and issues that I've either encountered so far or heard of from other people on here:
- XP not counting properly for most people including daily mission XP
- Purchasing cards and not having them show up in your inventory and not show as collected even though you've done the collection
- Progress being completely wiped out if you link your account
- Baserunners disappearing in showdown
- Losing stubs when cancelling orders
- Your ballplayer plays as if he's out of position if you play him at anything other than his primary position, even though that secondary position is one you are supposed to be able to play him at. So, good luck trying to create a catcher.
- Diving catches made by the CPU are even more ridiculous and happen even more frequently this year, which I didn't think was possible after last year.
- And, most importantly, you can rarely even get on the game right now because of the servers. Even if you do, you'll probably get a server error at the game and lose all of the mission progress you just made.
To be honest with you, I really don't feel that SDS will be able to fix this mess of a game anytime soon. I was getting server error messages at 1:00 am and 8:00 am this morning. If the servers can't even handle the traffic at those times then there's no hope for this game. SDS completely ripped off their customers and deserve every amount of hate they're getting for it.

What makes me most upset is that these sports game companies like EA, 2K, and SDS make insane amounts of money off of microtransactions and can't even give us a game that works properly despite that. It's time that people stop purchasing stubs for digital cards and demand better from these companies. I always thought SDS was a step above EA and 2k, but sadly they've proved that they are not.

People are too self serving to ever organize for a common goal like that in gaming. I bought extra the prior 2 years but I've had it with these companies and their sh%tty practices while nickel and diming us.

In all seriousness with all that has went on with servers and all of that, Either give us a free choice pack of the 1st inning bosses or a choice pack of any live series collection reward excluding Chipper. Also 20K stubs to top it off.

25k stubs. 50k xp. 10TA vouchers. 5 ballin packs or 25 standard packs, and maybe a 42 choice pack. I think that is fair.

Yea, they are preying off of people's (and especially younger people's) addictive tendencies and they know they can do whatever they want and people will still fork over their money to get that new card. I had serious concerns about whether I should preorder the game this year. In fact, I only did 2 days before the game came out. I just had a bad feeling that it was going to be a disaster, and unfortunately I should have listened to my instincts.
