PCI markers vary per batter...WHY?

Why on some batters are the circles or altimeter bars apparently bigger by hitting middle and lower of portion of the pci and others the middle and upper portion? Is SDS saying a batter will do better by hitting the ball on the ground and others by going for the launch angle?

Yes. Power guys will have a larger upper and middle portion, basically telling you to either lift or drive the ball for a flyball or a liner. Low power guys will have a larger bottom portion telling you to not hit flyballs because you'll most likely won't make the warning track.
Also the vision and contact numbers and the pitcher attributes influence the size of the lines in altitude or the dots/diamonds.
