I would maybe ask Jobu to come take fear from your bats.
-
You know if you take a few pitches 99% Of the time your opponent will throw you strikes right?

If you want instant results without the years of practice, the only thing I can say is buy a 1 or ½ms monitor. Once I changed about 3-4 years ago I immediately went up to CS, 2 divisions higher than my previous best. The following year I could consistently hit WS. A 100-mph fastball takes roughly 375-400 milliseconds to reach the plate. For reference, the blink of an eye takes 300-400 milliseconds. So if you think every ms doesn't count your sadly mistaken. Even the best tv's from 2020 have such high input lag, it makes playing games such as COD, Rocket League and MLB almost unplayable for me. Competitive gaming = Frames + Response time (apart from user skill obviously)
Example: On all-star difficulty i'm very early on almost all high fastballs, because its just a reaction, so I pull most of them foul. Why you hear most people/streamers say RS sucks until you get to 700 and start playing on HOF. In the living room on my 2019 Samsung 55" TV with 13ms response time, same console. I'm so late, I wont even play against the CPU to grind. The only thing I use my tv and that console for is the marketplace.

Once again the show is trash pretty upsetting. I dont understand how its fun to be thrown all balls every at bat. No one wants to play online and take [censored] pitches. Make hitting easier or u will lose all your fans besides the extreme monitor users and streamers. Terrible. The hitting is always good the first few days then something happens and they change it
Stop whining and get a monitor. There problem solved.
I must say.. I was having issues with timing so finally broke down yesterday and bought a really nice monitor at Costco... all I can say is wow... just wow why did I wait so long
what kind you get?

I bought a 31.5 inch LG for $220 yesterday at Office Depot. Works great. They aren’t expensive. I do wish I could play on my big screen but it is what it is.

Maybe DD isn't the game mode for you. Have you tried online Home Run Derby?

I was absolutely awful at hitting until earlier today when I figured out how to change my tv to game mode... I never thought it would make much difference so I never tried it, but it's a total game changer. I went from swinging at everything and being late on everything to being early and my pitch recognition went way up. Was able to knock out several moments in just a few minutes (as I assume they are designed to be done) instead of being stuck trying to get multiple hits for a million tries. If OP hasn't made the change then I recommend that for sure.

Actually, in order to bend universal laws enough to produce instant results you need both the reality stone and time gem, and if enough ppl are involved you need all 5.

Then dont comment on it monitor puss
This is like your 4th post about how bad the game is. You sound like you're just really bad and a whiner. I can see you spazzing out and throwing a controller at the family dog. Then cursing at your mom because dinner isn't ready yet.
Go play Banjo Kazooie

Other than people on the verge of self mutilation over the servers being slow 2 days into the biggest launch in the games history, he is literally the only one who posts about how bad the gameplay is. He clearly didn’t play ‘18 or ‘20 if he thinks this game is trash.

13ms is nearing top tier, monitors don’t get much faster and don’t come anywhere close to 1ms. I’d say you have something set wrong with that TV and something set correctly with the monitor.

I can send you a whole list of monitors that are one millisecond and half millisecond response time and a link to buy the lag tester if you like.
