Extra Innings and this year's game
-
I'm mostly a solo player who is on the fence about this year's game. Based on last year's game, I am pretty much done with Moments and Showdown.
But adding Extra Innings for XP is a big plus. My question is for anyone who has tried Extra Innings - do you earn enough XP from a game to make significant progress towards monthly rewards or is Showdown still important for attaining the monthly player choice? I'm referring to the choice player from earning 300 XP in 20.

Depends on how well you play. If you play on rookie, put up 5 runs per inning and strike everyone out, you should get 5000xp per game.

so you want him to score 45 runs and strikeout 27 batters in 1 game?

Ok, going to try to be nice but I didn't say that's what I wanted him to do. If you read what I wrote, I said if you do that, that's around what you get. Base that off how much you can put up. As far as striking out 27, I routinely strike out 20 plus on rookie with average pitchers so yes, as close to that as possible to max out what you can get. Runs is a little harder because of how the game plays but if you really try vs some awful team, it's close to doable and you rack up xp in those games. The more hits, runs and pitches you face, the more xp you get.

Does XP rank up with difficulty - that is more XP per run and K on All-Star vs Rookie?
How many XP does it take to unlock the premium player choice?
