PS4 pro worth getting?
-
So major info coming for the PS5 today, so guessing the PS4 pro may drop in price coming up. So does the PS4 pro make a big enough difference in game play to upgrade?

Depends how much you value picture quality and If you play VR. I will say that I upgraded when the pro came out and I definitely remember the PS VR quality increasing by a ton over the standard. Outside of that, however, I don’t think it’s must have.

Did you notice any difference in pitch speeds or being able to read pitches?

I don’t think so, but I picked up the pro at launch years ago, and I played on a monitor back then. It’s hard to recall.

Not sure about the show, as I've only played it on the pro, but if you play other games like exclusives, you'll want the pro. Also, I'm kinda assuming you have a 4k TV or monitor which maximizes it. About a month ago I bought a 1 TB SSD for it and it cuts down the load times on all games and runs a little smoother overall. It was worth the money IMO.

I have the first model pro too. Thing sounded like a jet taking off, so I put new thermal paste on it and it calmed down a lot. Every now and then it'll ramp up, but it's only for a couple mins then the fan slows back down. It used to stay running loud for as long as I played the game. Lol not anymore thankfully
