Not everyone is an elite player. What should be done is to make the bosses replayable for half the initial entry fee without losing progress. Last year in the inning programs if you got stuck on a moment you could skip it and still do the others for program points, this year it is all or nothing for 70 (not really fun for the average player).

Just for clarification, I like the showdowns and have had pretty good success so far (beat 1st inning on 1st try and have beat AL Central 3 times)

All losses should be repayable (while losing the reward option if you win after a loss). Time is the only thing that should be lost in 'solo' modes. Someone really good will breeze by quickly while someone not as good will take longer.

I do love the concept of the mode tho. Very different and could be a lot of fun IMO

Also, maybe tone down the [censored] ninja-like diving and jump catch animations lol

The thing is that someone who isn't really good could always choose to grind out the stat missions instead, it'll just take longer. Or you can try and improve your game so that you CAN complete the showdowns. Either way, the cards are obtainable for free for everyone. It's just the path to it that is different.

I hate it. I hate moments and this is just a super charged set of moments.

Also, I like using my team I’ve built. Any mode that doesn’t let me use my own team, I do not enjoy.

This I do agree with. But there's no use in drafting in showdown if you use your own team.

The showdowns are very difficult unless you are a really good player which I’m not but I think it’s 💯 percent fair. One, because there are other ways to grind the TA’s to get the face of franchise cards . Two, good cards should be a challenge to get sometimes.

Honestly I think the divisional showdowns are more then fair and I havent had any problems with those . The first inning up until the last boss is fairly easy to get to. Most of my runs I have been down 15-8 or 9 with a good team. When I lose due to bad input, that’s 100% on me as my full focus probably wasn’t on the game. But Minute Maid Park is the worst field in this game to play at and I shouldn’t lose because Yuli Gurreil has multiple diving stop double plays on good/good or better hits. Josh Reddick should NEVER rob me of a homerun. He has multiple times. All the complaints are indirectly based on CPU Fielding. That is the problem. Not the difficulty

I have completed the AL West showdown countless times because I want pretty much all the AL West diamonds. The things you mention have of course happened to me as well, but not nearly enough to impact the final result.

We need this attitude more, this is exactly what I mean. Most people want everything for free and the easiest way possible, but forget that there are other ways to obtain the cards. I do definitely think players who are capable of beating these should have the privilege to earn them faster. It's fair.

Half, hell I'd pay double to get a redo at that final boss. Or even 10x entry fee. The thought of going another 2 hours only to fail again makes my blood pressure go up.

Really good+ players will always have a leg up on everyone else. As they should. They will make it to CS and WS and get those rewards. They will win events at a quicker rate and probably get the "bonus" rewards.

These players will always have the best rewards and earn them at a quicker rate than everyone else. All I'm saying is that showdown shouldn't completely penalize the non-elite player more than they already are.

I would agree with you if they made the showdown on HOF difficulty. But come on man, it's Veteran. That's totally fair. And like I said countless times before, you're not being penalized because you can still do the stat missions.

You really think these diving and jump catch animations are veteran? I can 100% tell you none of that happened in the 5-10 conquest games I played on veteran. Pitch speeds were also slower than in showdown.

Yes and I believe this is fair. I didn't wake up one day being really good at this game by coincidence. I played countless hours and took many many beatings along the way. Because of that I can save myself a few hours to obtain the card anyone else can get in just a little while longer. How is this unfair?

Not in the TA showdowns. You probably refer to the 1st inning one. Either way, All-Star is also not hard imo but I'd understand that argument better than saying Vetetan is too hard.

I’ve Completed the AL west one a couple times as well. It could be because the AL west just simply has better players in the draft but it’s so much easier than the 1st inning one. In the AL west you are practically guaranteed Trout and Gallo. And any Oakland silvers or golds are Gods too(Olson and Lareano in particular. If you get Ohtani then 2 birds one stone. IMO if you don’t get Trout, Yelich, or Gallo during the 1st inning showdown you might as well restart

To you as well. Just for the record, I don't want to hold back anything from anyone. As far as I care they hand out all the cards to everyone for free. But since they're not, I think it's okay to make it a challenge where players who are a bit better at the game have the small advantage of obtaining a player faster.

The part about the AL West is definitely true, I agree. The 1st inning I can't really remember all that well anymore because I finished it on day 1 and it also only took me one try. Not saying that to brag, but it's just one for those grinding things you play through brainlessly and forget about right after you're done.

The final bosses are on all star not veteran.

Not in the TA showdowns. You probably refer to the 1st inning one. Either way, All-Star is also not hard imo but I'd understand that argument better than saying Vetetan is too hard.

I have not done TA ones because of how nightmarish the 1st inning one is. I really hope you are right. May have to try them instead before I keep bashing it

I can 100% guarantee that the TA ones or on Veteran. In the AL West there is just 1 mission on All Star and it's not even an elimination showdown, so it doesn't matter if you lose.
