HR/9 idea

So in DD this is of course a useless stat and that doesn’t effect much in game and that’s okay. But I different idea could be a ratio stat that displays whether the pitcher is a fly ball pitcher or ground all guy. Take Caleb smith for example. He was sitting at 66% fly all’s last year. So it could be a stat where he might have a ‘66’ and while of course user control would reign supreme. This could play a factor in the likelihood of a fly ball compared to a groundball. At the very least would be fun in franchise or MTO as a sim style thing. But think it could work in DD as well. Lmk your thoughts

another idea I have had for awhile is attributes vs certain pitches (sorta like quirks but plays a bit more obvious) like as a yankee fan I know aaron hicks looks like he wears a blindfold any time the pitcher throws a changeup so he should be penalized if the pitcher throws a changeup

I don’t know about it affecting likelihood of what is hit outcome but I do like your idea of it being an indication of what type of pitcher it is in vs CPU modes.

People would in turn just spam that pitch most likely. I see what you are getting at though.
