Every baseball season starts with Spring Training, and with the inclusion of Minor Leagues to the pool of available players in Diamond Dynasty, why don't we have a Spring Training program?

Include a player from every team based on their MLB rating and Spring Training performance. So say Trout hits .400, obviously he isn't getting a card because he's the best player in beisbol and that goes without contestation.

But say Joc Pederson who is swinging a .448 with 5 bombs, can get an 84 Gold because of his performance.

Cards could range from Silver to Gold with a final collection card being a low end diamond (85-86). This would be great for the first month of the season to help expand teams. Offer up 20 cards, or 30 (1 per team) and make 20 of those 30 silvers, 9 gold, and the best prospect player in ST a low end FS diamond.

This would also help introduce more minor leaguers into the game and could replace the "prospects" tier where we wind up getting the same card later anyway.

I don't wanna shoot down your idea- it is a good idea when you're in favor of more card variety. But that's where my objection comes in, I don't like all the card variety that let's say Madden and NBA2K have. Its clutter in my opinion, to sell packs and lower odds for the really good stuff. Unfortunately MLBTS has been moving into the same direction with all the Prospects, Finest, HRD and God knows what else. I'm that guy who prefers the traditional ways of this game, where the programs were Live Series, Rookie, Breakout, All-Star, Postseason, Hardware and Impact Veteran.

I completely agree with everything you said, but unfortunately that's not gonna be the case anymore.

Yeah, I think it’s cartoonish it when some Prospects card of a guy who has never played a game in the majors — or even the minors! — plays consistently better than an everyday 10-year veteran. Not a fan.

Gavin Lux for example, he didn’t do well in the majors and was sent back to the minors. Why his 99 is a Top 5 second baseman? And why does he even have a 99?

I made a big long rant about this last year lol

I absolutely despise prospect cards that are diamonds. I think they are the worst addition to the games content. Gavin Lux gets sent to the minors and has a babe Ruth-esk card in the game.
