Wrong Player Given Loss

I pinch-hit for my pitcher in a BR game and the batter somehow got tagged with the ER and the loss even though I had a pitcher ready tonstart the next inning. And I'm pretty sure itnwas the pitcher after him who actually earned the run and the L.

If he gave up a walk or a hit and the next guy gave up a hit that the first batter scored on, the ER and the loss go to the guy who put that runner on base
